Our Mission:

To bring Asheville the hottest, freshest, crispiest fish sandwiches around — the kind that stop you mid-bite and make you smile. Rooted in tradition and powered by flavor, HFFE serves more than food… we serve community. Every plate we make is crafted with heart, shared with pride, and delivered with the spirit of bringing people together, one golden bite at a time.

Who are we?

After being here for a while, the owner operator of H.F.F.E., which is an accornym for Hot Fresh Fish Everyday saw a need for this type of service, thus H.F.F.E's was born. Ernest is from Washington D.C. and was accustomed to having this type of establishment readily available on nearly every neighborhood corner. He is bringing that vibe to Asheviille.

H.F.F.E's is a special events company that provides the Asheville community with a quality great tasting fish sandwich and seasoned hand cut fries. "We are a new establishment with plans to entrench ourselves in the community. Becoming trusted and depended upon in the Asheville community is part of our mission plan and so far, we have been welcomed with open arms."

Fried Fish Sandwich

Golden fried whiting, piled high on your choice of wheat or white bread, with a variety of condiments including, homemade tartar sauce, roulade sauce, hot sauce, or malt vinegar.

Fried Fish platter

Our platter will have you eating with your nose and eyes before you ever take a bite of that golden flaky fish piled high on a platter consisting of your choice of wheat or white bread, choice of condiments, a side of homemade coleslaw, and a heaping of seasoned fries.

Vanilla Bean Lemonade

A refreshing twist on a classic. Our signature Vanilla Lemonade is made with fresh-squeezed lemons, pure cane sugar, and a smooth hint of vanilla that brings a rich, creamy finish to every sip. Light, bright, and irresistible — the perfect drink to cool down and pair with your favorite HFFE meal.

Shrimp Puppies

You gotta taste them to believe these bite-sized mouthwatering creations created exclusively by HFFE. They have been all the rage of our recent events. Served with our almost world=famous HFFE Sauce

Seafood Po' Boy

Crispy golden fried whiting, plus delectable shrimp with crispy tender scallops topped with our signature HFFE Sauce, served on a soft hoagie roll is Um Um Damnnnn. I know that's a run-on sentence but, Damn!
